The Perfect Wedding Venue

The Ocean Suite is reached via stairs up to a private upper area of the pier above the existing Waterfront bar. A walk through the main entrance guides you through Eastbourne and its heritage with the walls adorned with black and white prints from years gone by.

As you arrive into the new Ocean Suite the sense of space and light is amazing. The suite is glass to three sides and bathed in natural light which gives a spectacular feeling of being on board a luxury boat and offers amazing views of the Sussex coastline.

The room itself has been given a cool finish of light creams and jet black which compliment the champagne bar decor running almost the full length of the back wall. The striking lighting gives a crisp feel to the whole room which is a complete contrast with the blue of the ocean surrounding the suite.

Wedding Fair

The Ocean Suite on Eastbourne Pier will be hosting their second Wedding Fair on Sunday 27th May 2012, following the success of our May event this year. Come and visit this very exciting unique venue and experience the most beautiful views of the Sussex coastline. Our fair will include a range of wonderful exhibitors all under one roof. Entrance to the fair is free and will start at 11am until 4pm.

Step out on the new roof terrace which is even more breathtaking than being in the suite. The terrace area has had the traditional balustrade re-instated in keeping with the rest of the pier and offers an outdoor mini bar, the most magnificent 360º views of the coast, not to mention the fresh air!

A room hire fee is applicable to all weddings. This is as follows;

£1000 + VAT from 8am - 5.30pm

£1000 + VAT from 6pm - 2am (3am on Friday and Saturday)

£2000 + VAT all day

Please note that if the hours stated above are not suitable for your wedding we are very flexible and happy to change the hours to suit.

WHAT DO I RECEIVE FOR THE HIRE FEE?

  • The room (fully air conditioned)
  • Furniture (tables, chairs and cake table)
  • Clean linen on tables
  • Use of fully staffed bar
  • A duty manager/event co-coordinator
  • Security
  • Use of the cloakroom (not manned. There is a small fee to have the cloakroom manned)
  • An easel for the table plan
  • Exclusive use of The Ocean Suite terrace and terrace bar (weather permitting)

DISCO

We are also able to supply you with a disco for the occasion. There is a fee of £200 for the first 5 hours for this service then £30 per hour thereafter.
